You have the right to make a complaint at any time to the ‘Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados’ (CNPD), the Portuguese supervisory authority for data protection issues (https://www.cnpd.pt/). We would, however, appreciate the chance to deal with your concerns before you approach the CNPD so please contact us in the first instance.

The personal data we collect about you

Personal data means any information about an individual from which that person (‘data subject’) can be identified.
Clevidence only collects identity data (name, job title, organization name, and organization address) and contact data (email address and telephone number) and in certain situations other personal data that is strictly necessary and clearly indicated, in accordance with detailed information provided to data subjects in adequate support, when applicable. This data is collected only by express act of the interested party. We assume that a) the data has been provided by the owner or that the user has given permission to do so, and b) the data is true and up to date.
At any time, you can exercise the rights foreseen in the legislation in force, namely the right to get information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to the processing of your personal data (as described below in this privacy policy). You have also the right of presenting a complaint to the Portuguese supervisory authority for data protection issues (https://www.cnpd.pt/).

How we use your personal data

  • Recruiting and Selection of Personnel: the data is collected and processed for the purpose of the potential contract celebration with you (candidate). In the case of spontaneous applications, Clevidence requests express consent from you (candidate) to maintain your personal data on our database for a given period in the expectation of a future professional opportunity.
  • Complaints, Suggestions, and Compliments: the data is collected to ensure that your complaints, suggestions, and compliments are promptly addressed, and resolved.
  • Website Usage: we do not collect your personal data when you use our website. However, we receive statistical information from Google Analytics about your use of the website in an aggregate and anonymous way.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: the data is collected to comply with a legal obligation.

With whom are your data shared?

The data may be shared by Clevidence with third parties, namely the following:



  • Subcontractors (i.e., processors) who process the data on behalf of Clevidence only for specific and agreed purposes.
  • Judicial, administrative, supervisory, or regulatory authorities, in cases where such assignments are mandatory.


The duty of confidentiality and respect for the principle of the purpose of data collection is guaranteed by Clevidence.

We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

How long are your data stored?

Whenever there is no specific legal requirement, data are only kept for the time necessary for the purposes for which they are collected or processed. After this period, the data is erased.

We will answer each request within 30 days (more time may be needed for complex cases).
